â How Does It Work?
In the WoW Forever beta, a system bug stops your addons from writing their data to the SavedVariables files on your computer. ForeverSVFix works by temporarily modifying how the game reads those files, so your addon data is written correctly. Itâs like a quick band-aid that restores normal saving behavior. You donât need to know anything about files, folders, or codeâthe tool does it all for you.

Operating System: Windows 10/11, macOS 11 or later, or Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.)
Disk Space: Less than 5 MB free space
Other: You must have World of Warcraft: Forever beta installed and run it at least once
Find the file list: The page shows a list of files. Look for âForeverSVFix.exeâ (if on Windows) or âForeverSVFix-1.0.0.AppImageâ (if on Linux). Click that file name.
Save the file: Your browser will ask where to save it. Choose your Desktop or Downloads folder, then click Save.
Open the downloaded file: Go to the folder where you saved it and double-click the file. If Windows asks a security question, click âYesâ or âRun Anyway.â
